Benera and Estefan
I work, therefore I'm not, 2012 - ongoing
installation (A3 prints, wall paint), variable dimensions

We oftentimes have to support our artistic practice through an additional day job. Since 2012 the mouse pointer tracker has been recording the amount of labour hours spent in front of the screen not making art, but doing different freelance jobs.
On days dedicated to art making, the sheets remain blank. As we become more active as artists, an increasing number of sheets stay blank, until the drawings slowly vanish. The choreography of the computer mouse is captured every single day, and sent by email during the time of the exhibition.
